We left quite some time after 2 , along with a few other scouts who were interested or 'enthusiastic' enough about the thing (though actually it means they get to skip 1 hour's lesson , so that's most likely one of the reasons they came along)
But before that , maybe I should talk about basketball first .
We played it before we left since the lesson we were having then was P.E *:( we had to skip it halfway through to train marching .There were 4 of us and 6 more so that made 10 , so we split the number of people into 2 teams - 5 on 5 .The 4 of us were in one team with Felix Wong against another team , consisting of 3 girls and 2 guys (all the girls and one of the guys *Yeh Shan 0___0 undergone actual basketball training while most of us in my team only passed , ran , jumped and shot without any proper technique - though I think Felix did train a bit...........?? not sure.....)
The game went well , though ~ surprisingly so .Yeh Shan definitely went easy on us , I know and probably the girls as well ........but I would say our side did well too , for a bunch of noobs ............got only one shot but I am already quite satisfied and happy with it .Nick got many shots in as well :)
Back to scouts' training .
Let me cut a long story short and say that the scouts over at National School were far more trained , organised and coordinated than us here in International -_____- (I felt so feeble compared to them).I wouldn't really say training was VERY , VERY grueling and tough but it did take almost the entire session for me to get used to it
We had to
We have to return to training again for the next 2 Tuesdays .Hope things go better this time
